Re: Jelavic having medical.
Ultimately he's better than maiga and a decent back up until the others are fit.

Can't judge him on his hull time, as they were shit and no surprise no strikers there ever do much.

Rather it was a loan deal but he will add to the squad.

Good. A bit more depth to the squad.

Now let's get Song, Moses and maybe one other!

Re: Jelavic having medical.
Will hopefully offer a lot more than Cole. Even with playing in a poor Hull team he still has a half decent scoring ratio over his career.

Probably moving for a small fee so probably quite low risk when you factor in the players due to return over the coming weeks and will be a half decent backup for Sakho.

Hopefully it works out and he finds a bit of form; because even the most patient among us couldn't stand another year of Carlton Cole.

Re: Jelavic having medical.
No definitely not Tevaz, but I think the fact that we have Carroll coming back bodes well Jelavic will be coming here as backup. Also the performance on Saturday also shows we can be a team who does'nt rely heavily on having a centre forward who scores all our goals.

This signing will end in tears a shocking transfer, hull must be chuffed to get money for him.

Re: Jelavic having medical.
Scored 8 league goals in a poor Hull team last season, would've been our second top scorer. not quite sure what people want for a 3rd/4th/5th choice striker. massive improvement on Cole and Maiga, more goals than Valencia.

chad sexington 12:06 Mon Aug 31
Re: Jelavic having medical.
8 goals in 26 for a hull side with less creativity than ours last season. He's not as bad as some think. He runs all day too down the channels which is what we need our strikers to do
